Don't pull off though. I would lift the finger slightly after you've held the B for a quarter note. This will deaden the string in time to the music.

Are you just practicing or are you going to perform? A lot of practice amps have different modeling selections. Some of these have a "metal" setting, and they come cheap.

I love this remake. I've beaten it about five times now. I never play a game that much. I enjoy the AI for "computer friend" mode. It's almost perfect. The only problem is they call the cops too...

I don't think a full gym style practice is needed for trills. Find some songs with a lot of trills. Or just throw it in at the end of practice. This will probably be enough.

Yeah, I have an acoustic with a short neck. It's one of the cheap fender acoustics. The biggest problem is the short neck. I like my Stratocaster because I never run out of fret space.
