The Clark Gainster was a pretty cool OD pedal. Gets a lot of good vibes sent it's way. Especially the big box ones.

Can you tell me if your baseplate is stamped? Maybe with a Pat No.? Or is it gooped? Or does it have a sticker? Maybe a date? Are you able to see if the magnet is a smaller sized one or not? IIRC...

You can't just throw a 24 fret guitar neck onto a body routed for 21 frets. You have to move the bridge position to keep the proper scale length. Unless you don't feel like playing in tune anymore....

When I said mid to late 1970 I didn't mean the 70s, I meant the actual year. 70 to maybe 72 the shape was basically the same as the late 60s ones aside from the volute and the Made in USA...

Yeah it's cool. Think that particular one is based on a 68-69 SG (which is funny cause Angus' first one was an early 70s one since it had the volute on the neck.)

Magnet Swap:


Unscrew the 4 base screws enough that you can lift the 2 coils. DO NOT lift them too much....

Oh man, me too. I've played the white one a few times and I didn't find it too weird to play. Bends and vibrato are a bit cooky though.
