You can look at a used Mesa Tremoverb, probably the best Recto model made (besides the RK) and they run $700-$1000 used

The Lonestar is a clean amp that does mid-gain very well. The MK5 will do that and more, and IMO is a much better amp.

AMS is great, but they are mail order for most people. They also give you a free 1 year extended warranty for free. so when the Bugera Warranty runs out, you still have a year of coverage for free.
