I would recommend not going tube and getting a modeling amp. Vypyr, Valvetronix, whatever you end up playing and liking. Just know that it won't sound as good. No amp sounds as good at bedroom levels...

Yeah, what doive said. If you mean, like, band practice amp then 30-40 valve is good. Of those mentioned I would go with the vox, but the peavey is probably a bit better suited for the heavier stuff.
