I'd recommend using an all solid-wood dreadnought and if that's not enough, getting a pickup and using an amp.

Using a tremolo causes the strings to slip and go out of tune, locking tuners prevent this.

I don't really see much need for them on an acoustic, but there isn't really any huge reason I'd see why...
