Just a quick Question because i want to understand this: You said the 8 Ohm setting is actually a 500:1 because 4000/500=8.
So shouldn't the 4 Ohm setting be 1000:1 since 4000/1000=4, and the 16 Ohm...

I think it exists and is called rt2/50. At least it is randalls recommended power amp for the Rm4, and at first glance it seems to offer the same flexibility in terms of different tubes, easy bias...
