I got an Ibanez RG350EX (or something like that) for 100 euros, set it up, played it for half a year and sold it for twice that (and that was because I could use the money for other gear).

The headbone works fine, however, getting a second cab opens up the option of using them at the same time, which is awesome in some cases.

I'd suggest getting the guitar you like and swapping electronics if needed. If they come with EMG's, you can just sell those on and get good second hand pickups (like SD's) for about the same price...

I've only played one Lonestar Strat (the other guitarist in my band had one) and I'm not big on strats, but it wasn't anything special. That said, you can probably always resell it for the same or...

I like playing around with volume knobs and tone knobs when I play on my own or for recording, but live, I prefer everything either on 0 or 10 for consistency. So either tone at 0 or full and volumes...

Do not get a TSL, honestly. The other guitarist in my previous band had one and you can barely get a decent sound out of the third channel. You'd be better off buying a DSL and a drive pedal then...

You're comparing apples and oranges, Gab.
The TH30 is an entirely different beast than the AC30. There's not even much overlap on them, imo. Either one is ill-fitting, I presume, given that they're...

Solid suggestion here! :)

What about ENGL? They have a ton of amplifiers with 2 channels that also have 2 modes. Tons of gain and the cleans are great imo.

I'm gonna go with the Vypyr (Tube) suggestion. The Tube if possible, but if not, that's your best option in my opinion. To keep it cheap, that is.

Not only jazz, just cleaner stuff in general. Not that I usually care, but I'd rather play alternative music on a 335 7 string than I do on my Ibanez superstrat now. :P
