Nope. And that guitar has Bareknuckles in it now.

If you want sheer versatility, I would totally recommend a PRS. I'm completely convinced you can play anything and sound good on a PRS.

Suhrs can do it too.

Yeah, that's the EMG sound honestly. Very contained. Did you try swapping the battery for a new one?

The way these guitars (and almost all guitars with 2 volume...

It depends on the bridge, the amount of spring tension, and how it's set up.

Tremolos set to float (i.e. balanced by string and spring tension) are a bit less stiff feeling.

Hell, at $2500 I'd be looking into Suhr Classics. They do the whole Strat thing better than Fenders IME.

I own an ESP (Standard series, now renamed as the E-II line). It's head and shoulders above any Schecters I've ever played save for the USA ones which are quite a bit more money.

The D-Activator really doesn't sound like an active pickup. It sounds like a passive pickup trying to replicate the "active sound" - that is, the really broad frequency response. It doesn't really do...

Here's the interesting thing about 24 bit vs 32 bit Floating:

They're both 24 bit. 32 bit floating can just change the frame of reference to avoid reaching full scale.

Schecters don't have huge necks, contrary to popular belief. Epiphone may do what you want but I'd do it with more than $200 invested.

$200 isn't really gonna get you what you're looking for.

Solid.

Can't say I think you'll really notice a difference between the stock ceramic cap and the orange drop, cap dielectric really doesn't matter in a guitar's tone control circuit.

Carvin is your best option here.

HOWEVER, I think you may want to consider PRS again - the Custom 24s come with coil splits which let you get reasonably close to single coil tones.

Doesn't sound bad at all. Snare could do with more high end and a bit less compression.
Guitars sound like they should be edited to be tighter but otherwise sound pretty good.
