Really? you play a acoustic guitar with a plastic saddle and you're worried about repairing it? Dude it's time to move up, even most low end acoustics have bone or wood or ivory saddles, don't throw...

Gibson has the big rep but I'f I were buying without considering price, I'd get a Martin or look for an older pre-fender Guild, preferably a 70's model.

I have a Peavey VK 212, for similar money I could have gotten the head and 4x12 cab, not sure of acoustic advantages, but I find that the weight is a huge issue, my amp weighs tons, a seperate head...
