Extracts a great way to get started. You should consider stove top BIAB's too. That's the majority of what I do now. It's pretty easy to start all grain brewing this way.

Personally I think they're very over looked. They have a unique tone to them but can still border on humbucker or single coil type tones depending on how you EQ your and and other such things....

What I do personally is stack my TS-9 with my Bad Monkey. I use the Bad Monkey for a clean boost and the TS for higher gain stuff. I rarely do this and prefer to just use my TS but just an idea.
