Yeah, they sell good stuff, but they're customer service is *almost* there.

But USACG is seriously great!

Are you going with the jazzmaster trem? If not, a TOM + stoptail is always great.

USACG made me a jazzmaster body, and it is terrific! The contours are awesome, and they don't upcharge for everything like warmoth does.

I'm really interested in how you're gonna do the rest for that cheap... I currently am in the middle of a $800 jazzmaster build, and I can't see any ways to save money, haha.

Used Carvin legacy, 1st generation would do you good. Carvin cleans are like no other IMO, and the gain channel is one of my favorites and is perfect for VH type tones.

Any pickups other than super high output pickups are generally great for grunge in my experience. Those two would work fine!

Get the temperature of the water right. If there's bubbles, it'll show up in the finish and look ugly, unless you use insane amounts of clear.

So I know some wahs use a buffer so you can use them in front of a fuzz, can I run an external buffer with a regular wah to be able to run it in front of a fuzz? Thanks.

If the plain strings are coated especially, coated will last much longer than uncoated strings...
