Sounds fine for the style. The most important things to remember with screaming (really any vocals, but especially screaming) is that the moment it hurts you need to stop. Screaming shouldn't be...

This really doesn't belong in recording, it has absolutely nothing to do with it.

That said I would guess you're probably using too much gain, it can make things get really messy if you're not...

Are you sure? I could have sworn they were based on the original 5150 and 6505 (or at least 5150/6505 and 5150 II/6505+).

I would go with either the Nick Crow 7170 or 8505 (cloned on the 5150/6505 respectively). Although technically modelling the same amp (seeing as the 5150 and 6505 are the same) the two sims do sound...

REAPER can handle videos but I've always found it kind of finnicky. The easiest way I've found is to record the video and audio with separate programs/devices (I use my phone for video usually), and...

Yes, get that. It's the same as the 2i4 in an older box with USB 1.1 rather than 2.0 (won't matter much on a 2 channel).

I've never liked the sound of any of the Line 6 gear I've used, so I'd go the Scarlett. The scarlett has two 1/4"/XLR combo inputs, whereas the Pod has 1 of each (which I hope you can still use as...

FTFY

Most condensers will work okay, an omni in a fairly central position or a pair of cardioid condensers are ideal. A cardioid dynamic like the 57/58 won't have the sensitivity to pick it up well,...
