The snare is the 7x13 Tomas Haake snare from SD2 Metal Foundry. Got some extra compression and reverb on it though.

On my guitars that have floating trems i always use 9's. With 10's i feel there is too much tension on the trem to get the vai-esque trem flutters that are really cool.
