I don't use it for massive compression, just fattening up my AC15 and boosting the cleans a bit, sounds so nice. It also works great with my drives and fuzz...

The one I had was noisy and kind of just sucked the life out of the tone. It somehow made a sweet sparkling clean sound dull, lifeless and boring. Oh yea and it killed high end :(

I love the Colossus, it's the only fuzz I've ever REALLY loved (well okay except for the Wampler Velvet that thing is mint). It's so damn versatile and just sounds so good with any amp I've ran it...

It's actually pretty great for the price. I don't have noise issues and it does its job. I even powered a Flashback X4 for half a year with it and no problems at all.
