Negotiating with guitar center

How much can you really negotiate with Guitar Center. I'm looking at a guitar that's listed at $2999. Do you think you can get more than 20%?

Guitars without Fret Markers

Whammy Bar Question

On the two guitars that I own that have whammy bars I hate the way they feel when I strum. They feel so loose for lack of a better term. Do all trems have this feeling when strummed?
