I've never seen an eclipse with that lay out. It might have been a European market exclusive as ESP tend to do every now and then. Your best bet is to email ESP about it and have them confirm it.

Yes and no. Owning both I can say that my ESP is far better than my EC-1000 even though I still consider my LTD a great guitar. Looking at both of them the ESP is more "traditional"
