Roland Cube 30 is great. I've never used the X-series cubes though, and that's all they make now. If you can get your hands on one of the original Cubes, do it.

If price is irrelevant, you could get a JCM series amp and buy an attenuator as well. Those DSL amps are pretty nice too, for newer ones.

It depends on what you're doing. If you're recording you should leave out the pedal entirely and use VSTs. That way you can tweak the effect later as you need to.

The Fender passport series was something we considered. You can get the mixer and 2 loudspeakers for under $1000 CAD. They have different models, the higher the wattage the higher the price.

That's a good idea, but I'm too cheap for that :shrug: If I like the Joyo I'll probably just get another, they're only $35 CAD. And there's the Behringer Ultra-G that's only around $50.
