I owned one with a Vypyr75 and it works well as a multi-effect in that setup but the modeling is still crap(stick to the Vypyr's modeling which is pretty decent). Though to be honest it'd be better... |

I'd go with a Blackstar HT-5. It's a little bit over your $300 budget but they sound pretty good, and they're versatile. Good cleans and they can be good for heavier music as well. |
