Duncan JB is fantastic. It is pretty bright, but it's fairly clear and articulate. Good for clean or distorted.

Seymour Duncan has a pickup finder on their website that might be worth a look....

Definitely a new cab. Put some serious thought into a 2x12 though. More and more, I see bands using them live, and they're more than loud enough, with the added benefit of easy transportation.

I've never had a problem with tone sapping from mine, but its possible I just havent noticed. Couldn't tell you much about the insides, but I would certainly recommend it based on my experience....
