I'd go with the Flashback or a Line 6 DL8, just cause they have a looper function, sound great, have multiple dely options, and cost very little for all you get.

What's up with this "guitarists listen with their eyes" crap? My amp is homely as can be. And I have a couple beautifully ugly Telecasters. I have a Vox Valvetronix with a silver metal grill, lol. I...

It only works with mahogany guitars with P90s. If you were to try to use something like a Strat with an mfx AND single pedals you'll overload the timeflux capacitor and send the alpha-bearings into a...

^ I agree with cajundaddy too, that's what I do for low volume playing. But if you're playing loud, a compressor would give you a bit more oomph while staying clean as a whistle (to an extent).

Regardless of cost, I'd take an Epi Valve Jr over either of those. You'll want something bigger if you're gigging though.

Normally I'd say the FD2 but in your case I'd say the BD2. I've tried both with an AC15 and prefer the BD2 with it. Though I'm sure some folks may prefer the opposite. I think the BD2 gives the AC15...

Good tubes and a speaker upgrade may make a world of difference. Taking the ds1 and one of the chorus type pedals outta the chain may make a good difference too. Perhaps you'd prefer an AC15, nothing...

Randall RM, brand new Line 6 DL4 and a few modules. Though I'd take a few hundred out to grab either an Epi Wildkat or Dot ES339.

Can you find a Fender Princeton Chorus? It's solid state but apparently it's a notch or two above a FM (I've never tried a FM). I gigged with one for years, ignorance is bliss, lol. But, seriously, I...

If it's the same Whammy as the 355, its useable and a lotta fun. But I also own a Zoom G3 and imo its the far superior mfx between the RP355 and G3. If the G3X has a whammy, I'd aim for that if I...

If you've got the space, why not do both? Seems like all you really need to do is add a decent amp. Does your looper have stereo outs? If so, you could use that to split your signal. Not sure how...
