Another vote here for the Line 6. It's basically just a bunch of stompboxes, so nothing particularly complicated. Also. Line 6 tends to get a lot of love for their reverb, modulation and delay...

The main reason I want ceramic is to make it sound a bit more like a Sterling.
I generally prefer the smoothness.

I think after searching around, the Duncan SMB 4D will be the one I go for since...

I haven't tried any of those amps, but I can say that you shouldn't be too worried about the tube/valve in the Hartke. It's a single 12AX7 for a bit of drive. As long as you're not on full distortion...

Decent 4 conductor ceramic MM pickups?

I've always been a fan of the sound of MM Sterlings, so I'd love to get a ceramic pickup to replace the Alnico one in my SBMM Ray4 .
My plan is to replace the stock 500k volume with a push/pull to...

Long answer: Basically anything you like. There's not much difference between E and Eb. Peronally, I'd go for 10-46s. If I were going down to Drop D/Drop C#, I use 10-52. When I'm...

This.
I've recently been playing around with ambient type sounds, so I've been running the left and right 1/4" outs into my 2i4 to get decent quality sound. The onboard USB out works fairly well,...

Well firstly, most* modern power amps are solid state, so there isn't as much of a sweet spot in the power section - it's fairly linearly good sounding,
This means that you could have a 50 or 500...
