There's no need for a 7 string if you're only going to use 6 of the strings, although you need to make sure you get the correct string gauges and that the guitar can handle the thicker strings. You...

This thread's been moving fast recently! Blackout is such a great song but always seems to get overlooked - the HAARP version moreso. I've always liked Screenager a lot as well... Nobody else likes...

The issue is that those pedals use a J-FET switching circuit. I haven't properly looked over the circuit but I imagine that would raise issues. You might be able to find a different momentary switch...

What 6ers do you have already? I don't have any 7s, although I have an old 2120, which is the six string version of the 2127. Based on that experience alone, prepare for anorexic necks. If you can...

I find it surprisingly easy:

1) OoS
2) Absolution
3) BH&R
4) Showbiz
5) The Resistance
6) T2L

I wouldn't say that's changed much for me. I was tempted to rate The Resistance above Showbiz because...

Muse, Tool, Riverside, Ne Obliviscaris, Cynic, and RHCP
