you have to put the reverb before the power amp, if possible after the pre amp

honestly, you are better off just shopping around. I work at a music store, and if a frontman breaks, fender says to throw it out, and give them a new one because they are honestly not worth...

I think locking nuts are very unnattractive. it would be quite unneccessary if you dont use your tremolo at all. locking tuners and a blocked bridge will help your tuning stability immensely

they're too hot. keep your stock ones and get a tubescreamer. when your resonant peak gets up that high, you lose so much top end that its not worth it. the extra crunch can be attained otherwise

fender ones are painted on, but they are under many layers of clear coat. gibson type ones are inlayed into the wood and you would have to dremel them out, then fill the hole

a p-100 is 2 p-90's stacked on top of each other out of phase to cancel the hum. I dont like them at all, but the big compaint with p-90's was how noisy they were. I have an epiphone les paul...

you could put a coil split switch on it, but odds are that both would sound worse because of it. a p-100 is hum cancelling, thats it, thats the big deal. they SUCK. a p-90 has loads more character
