What exactly do you mean? Where are the resistors in the circuit? If there are no components between the resistors then it would make no difference, but then you might as well just use one resistor...

Anyone who wants to post a survey should ask a mod first and post it in its own thread. That's just common courtesy.

Strictly speaking, it's actually a voltage divider rather than a variable resistor. It can act like a variable resistor if you only hook up lugs one and 2, but you won't be able to use it to mute an...

That is pretty much mostly the reason for having cooling fans and everything. The effect of temperature on resistance I should imagine is pretty small given the range we're talking about, but you can...

As I say, they are different things. Transistors are capable of just letting the higher energy electrons flow through them without any need for excitation. A vacuum is not. The material usually...

Ok, you could conceivably play a chord on the drums but I think this is a bit of a moot point, seeing as very little pitched music is written for drums. Bozzio is about the only artist who plays...

I wouldn't worry about it too much. DC resistance isn't exactly some be-all-and-end-all of how loud a pickup is going to be. The cover usually makes a pickup slightly quieter and warmer than without,...
