If it were me I'd use a SPDT (three lug switch) and wire the middle lug to the 9V+ in on the vero board and the other lugs to the 9V and 18V nodes.

Read from the drain to source on both Q4 and Q5. Do this with both the pedal bypassed and engaged.

Not sure what you are measuring.

If a wrong PSU was used you need to replace D1 and maybe also the IC's and electrolytics capacitors exposed to the 9V.

Measure the resistance from the drain to source on both of them. Do this with the pedal bypassed and engaged.

Just telling you now there is a very good chance those passive parts you are replacing...

Cool little amp you got there. Why did you ground the input pentodes cathode? You could get more clean headroom and gain with a bypassed RC cathode.

Tolerance has nothing to do with quality. Pedals are lofi, tolerance of components does not matter for most circuits.

The LED only lights up "flickers" as you play. It's being used a clipping diode. Once your signal reaches a level of about 1V or so the light LED will light up showing you the clipping.

I own a GA4. I really like the shape and balance of the GA shape. It has great focus yet enough high end and clarity.

The ovangkol works for me. It provides enough omph and bass for the guitar imo.
