3 String Arpeqqios are not very good practice for beginners, you are doing very little sweeping and a lot of direction change at bottom and top.
I suggest easy 5 string arpeggios for the beginning....

No, it's mostly memorizing and then building up speed with most licks. If the lick is not near your motorical skill ceiling it will usually not take very long and phrasing gets most of the attention....

If that was what you are doing it would be fine. What you are doing though is going to a tab forum and presuming tab useres don't use standard notation, are limiting themselves to amateurish settings...
