I've had several troubles with the electronics on my Epiphone, although it is almost 14 years old. I've played a Gibson SG once and I wasn't impressed at all, in fact I thought it was crap.

I wouldn't say a Rectifier is the best amp for thrash. Some of the orange lunchbox amps might be a bit more suitable, and so much cheaper. The Dark Terror or the Dual Dark Terror?
