Meaning, can you play the first pattern of the minor pentatonic anywhere on the neck? In other words can I play that pattern starting on the A of the low E string making it in the key of A? |

While that's probably true on average just because it's American made doesn't mean it's high quality every time. I'd argue that guitars coming out of Japan and Korea are getting close to the average... |

So I was at my local guitar store and this 12 year old...
...came in and totally shredded. Sweep picking with ease and playing Randy Rhoads solos, Van Halen riffs, and other stuff flawlessly. I thought to myself, "I need to go home and practice." |
