Do the watts mean amp watts? Because this one is supposed to affect tone less as it is speaker based and not resistor based.

I live in a dorm and never get to turn it up past three. I love the way it starts sounding at 5, so warm and bright, but it shakes the walls and such. If there was some way to change the amp I would.

What's a good low wattage amp head I can run into my 8 ohm Deluxe Reverb? It would be used for blues and classic to hard rock. Budget depends. Definitely below 500 but I would like to keep it LOW.

I have a Deluxe Reverb and I want to be able to get the warmth from turning up the amp, but I live in a dorm so that's not feasible. Would an attenuator help for this? And if so which one?
