Tap on the power tubes with a pencil. If there is sound coming from the speakers then it's gone microphonic. If not the problem will be the phase inverter, try tapping it too.

I'd measure the biasing anyway just to be safe. Be aware that E34L's are biased about 10% hotter than EL34's.

Check what screen resistor is on it too.
