For me it's the neck. Finish, shape, size, radius. Although I wouldn't call it hard, I'd say comfortable and uncomfortable.

Agreed. It's a great amp(I have the head and cab), but you will need pedals to get heavy tones. It takes pedals incredibly well.

Not sure you can get that with a crush. Ness uses a Fender Bassman and Wickersham uses a Satellite amp, I forget the model.

To go from active to passive, you just need to also change your volume and tone pots. Actives also have a different input jack, but you don't really have to change that, just wire it correctly.

It's basically a knock off of the Tremol-no, but much more time consuming to install.

Took me 5-10 minutes to install my Tremol-no and all I needed was a screwdriver and an Allen wrench.

I have both. After the initial stretching period, there is no difference. Locking are much faster when re-stringing though.
