Is Big Muff good for Hendrix?

I'm looking into buying a cheap fuzz and i'm able to get a electro harmonix big muff for quite a cheap price (second hand), is it good for Hendrix tones?

Also, i doubt i would be able to get much for the avt, they are being sold for around 100 from pre-owned shops...

I tried out the marshall class 5 today the tube breakup sounded great but it was too loud for home playing, i also tried out he laney cub which sounded nice can anyone recommend these amps?

Hmm, i think the Valvepower amp is a bit too much over budget, including the cab, so i was looking at the marshall class 5 amp people suggested, i'm going to try it out at my local guitar shop asap,...

Well the battery doesn't work ( i can't test it with the right polarity power supply as that broke aswell) so does that mean i have blew capacitors and stuff? :P
