It DOES have a volume knob though. Check the menus? The master volume on mine also functions as a channel volume and an effect mix level knob...

I've noticed something today. The 338 is much more responsive to changes in BMT settings on the RP than my previous guitars. My H50 would sound boomy clean even with the bass down...
