Fair enough. The profile might just exaggerate it for me. It definitely felt thicker than my Les Paul.
I play an Ibby RG as my main guitar as well, so that might change my opinion.

It's not my thing, but it's put together reasonably well with pretty decent...

If you do that, adding a condenser for a room mic wouldn't be a bad idea.
