All I'm saying is that when I listen to bands who tune down as low as F# I can definitely still here the notes. Also, the frequencies of lower notes get very close to each other.

I can't think of any bands that completely guitars under 300Hz. To be fair, I see your point on CAFO, the production on CAFO leaves a lot to bee desired, but I was referring more to the composition....
