toss up for me between the jb and the super distortion on what you are looking for. The JB is more percussive and clean but the Super distortion is going to be better for metal with a touch of sizzle...

If I am gonna spend $11 on a set of strings I can get Elixers with nanoweb or coated DRs that will last longer.
