I would take the DK2M or the Pro Mod over the RG1XXV. The FRT-X000 & OFR should last longer than the Edge Zero II.

I don't hate the EZ2 at all, it's quite a good trem for the price of the guitars...

A good amp will sound good regardless of volume.

Jackson is making an interesting foray into ERGs lately. Biggest problem I see is they have, IME, pretty bad QC.

And they need a more modern headstock shape alternative.

Not impressed at all. They might appeal to people who really like that bright new string sound, but I don't. Regular D'Addarios are perfect for me.
