Yup, I'm starting from scratch, learning C Major scale... I have absolutely no background in music and have played the guitar for 3 years, only to realise I have no idea what I am doing XD

Soloing

Okay, I've learnt the pentatonic scales and when I try to come up with my solos, I realised that it all sounds "bluesy" or "jazzy"... How do I make the solo sound more "generic"?
