some time ago another UGer had a similar problem...

some time ago another UGer had a similar problem and it turned out to be the locking nut, as far as I remember it wasn't secured on the neck tight enough

lovely finish! though mounting the pickup upside down shouldn't actually reverse the phase, you've got to flip the magnet or reverse the wires :shrug:

I'd say get the V, there's no guitar too much odd-looking to be played, there are just guitarists with not enough personality to play them :haha: and anyway the V has been played by many guitarists...

The one with the bigger inlays is listed in the Schecter's 2012 catalog so it must be the older version, the other is the current one. Personally I like the discontinued one better :shrug:

Assuming it's wired correctly the only reason I can think of is that the Invader, even when split, has got an higher output than the ssl 1 so its humming it's not completely cancelled by the other...

Very nice and I bet it looks even nicer in person, digital cameras tend to oversaturate the red of cherryburst. Still my favourite Les Paul in your collection is that natural one :D

That's cool, I've never seen this model before. The silverburst 2007 reissue was a limited run of just 400 guitars, pretty rare, nice find!
