Before you start filing try lightly tapping the fret with a hammer to see if you can get it to go down back into the fret board. Cover the fret with some cloth or something to avoid denting them.

Identify this guitar? (it's cool look!)

Saw this in a local shop, it's fretless and the only markings are an M on the headstock. The shop has no idea what it is either and said a collector sold it to them. It's obviously a quality guitar...
