+1 i have bought probably 20 guitars blind, and only had two issues. one was that the seller shipped the wrong guitar. not a big deal, it was rectified and i got some good freebies and a free case....

when i install straplocks, i take a tooth pick and shove it in the hole with a little bit of glue, then screw in the peg. it will stay.

i am not sure how a speaker swap would do with a modeling amp. if you want to use the modeling amp for a variety of different tone, you would want a flat frequency response speaker. i wouldn't bother...
