If its jazz or just chord progressions of course you're not going to play it note for note. Unless you are trying to cover a band in a different style I don't think theres anything wrong with playing...

What do you guys think about the bass big muff? i love big muffs but the samples of the bbm sound pretty bad imo.

You don't happen to have any fender bodies laying around that you could try to fit that les paul neck on? The seller on ebay claims that it can fit a fender but i am unsure.

I've played the Seymour Duncan hot rails and the Dimarzio rails.
The Dimarzio's sounded a lot closer to a full sized humbucker to my ears.

The Joe Bardens look interesting. Might have to check those out. I usually wouldn't buy pickups that expensive but I am putting them in a pretty expensive guitar.
