You can run Boss GT-10 and GT-100 in 4 cable mode, thus having pre and post preamp effects.

Budda zen drive also great option, has tubescreamer and clean boost plus switch to disengage the famous low end...

I have Princeton 112 and it is one of the better solid state amps that I've played. The other amp would be more valuable though, fix and sell or keep, I guess check with eBay and local ads for price.
