I too have the Blackstar HT5. Sound is fantastic...

I too have the Blackstar HT5. Sound is fantastic but is very loud for home use if you have neighbours close by.

Voltage is no problem, it's the lead that goes into the power adaptor. It's one of those Yamaha THR10 amps.

The Blackstar is loud because you need to crank it up to get the tubes going. I would be using the Monitor as a separate setup.

I have confirmed it is a 94 model made at the Rhode Island factory. Got the price down to 420, but I'm not sure if this still isn't a bit too much. It doesn't come with it's original case.
