It's mostly the distortions. Their overdrives are pretty good. So are some of the effects.

What makes parallel pickups quack and series smooth and fat?

Hi. I was wondering, does anyone know what makes 2 pickups wired together parallel quick and 2 pickups wired in series fat and smooth?

What is happening to make this difference and why?
