I think that the mki 50s have 6v6's and mkii 50...

I think that the mki 50s have 6v6's and mkii 50 have EL34's. On the 100's both mki and mkii are EL34. some information is conflicting though.

is not necessarily lazy. It's that every time I would restring it I would forget to thread it through and I would have to do it over. haha. it is so automatic for me to do and I have so many guitars...

its kind of a slippery phrase though.

pretty hot. i am not good at describing pickups in text, but i didn't feel the need to swap it with it to play modern metal. i like it a lot. i actually threw one in the bridge of a gibson LP.

i never got it out of my VK head. it was through a mesa os cab. it will do some metal, but if you are looking for metalcore, look into something else.
