The necks are similar and if you aren't digging the PRS I would say do it but that specific Schecter is not worth it. The Damien series is fairly low and I can guarantee your PRS is a much better...

Peavey makes great basses and are fairly inexpensive. I reccomend the Grind series and Zodiac series. They are definately the best "bang for your buck" company. Pretty underrated IMO.
