Well yeah he is fretting a A shape Barre at the second fret which is a B, but it sounds weird to me.
My ring finger doesn't bend in such a way so I play it with my pinky.

Indeed, Bm Barre chord in 4 months is excellent.
Go back and forth between them chord changes, it will soon become second nature, use a metronome and gradually increase the tempo.

How lazy can people be? If you can't be arsed putting the effort in to play barre chords correctly then why the hell are you playing at all?
Either do it correctly or find a easier hobby.
