I agree that the speaker will make the bigger difference for you, but if you have the stock tubes in, you should change them too. For a speaker, don't overlook the Jensen electric lightning, great... |

RFT is a great preamp tube. I put one in my stiff amps Dirthead and it sounds great. A bit expensive, but worth it in my opinion. Can't go wrong with JAN GE 5751 or JAN Phillips 5751. |

It was 59.99, but totally worth it. I kept the tungsol in V2 because I couldn't afford to buy anymore at this time. When I get some spare cash, I'll certainly grab another one or two for spares. |
