A technique my teacher taught me was to learn solos in sections, like you're doing, but to learn the first 1/4 of the previous and following measure. That way, you have overlay and you know how to...

Win. Haha.
Also, regarding the genuineness of the Sheraton, I'd hope it's real. I bought it new from a pretty reputable shop. Ha.

A shot of the body and of the headstock. It looks a lot better than the pictures. I love the plain look of it. You can't much see it, but there is a small, plastic strip right below the sound hole....

So I've been searching for a new acoustic for awhile. I've found some Martin's and a few Taylor's that I liked, but I never bought one, mainly because I was broke, but still. Haha. Anyway, I was...

I just like knowing what I play. Ha. It's more of a personal preference than anything. As far as the OM-01, I've found some info on it: mahogany sides and back with spruce top, solid. I'm going to...

Looking for an Acoustic

Hey, all,

I'm looking into buying an acoustic here in the near future as I already have two Fender electrics and miss the sound and feeling of an acoustic. I've had previous guitars in the past,...

Alternate Tremolo

Hello all,

I'm tossing ideas around in my head for a guitar project in the future and was contemplating a tremolo. I have a Fender Strat with one, but I don't use it much as I've never really...

I'm still using the stock ones. They should be changed 6 months, right? I've had a few different amps and each one has had different needs. I've owned a Fender from 72 with the original vacuum tubes.

So I was playing guitar today through my Fender Hot Rod III. I bought it new back in 2011 and it hasn't ever really been "cranked". The knob goes up to 12, but the highest it's been is maybe 5 or so,...
